As we wrap up another incredible year at Perlo Construction, we want to take a moment to reflect on the achievements, challenges, and growth we’ve experienced in 2024. This year has been nothing short of transformative, and we owe it all to our dedicated team, trusted partners, and valued clients. Here’s a look back at the highlights of 2024 and a glimpse into what’s to come in 2025.

Celebrating 2024 Milestones

This year, we reached several significant milestones that we’re proud to share:

Unveiling Major Projects

From groundbreakings to topping-out ceremonies, 2024 was filled with milestones that showcased the dedication and expertise of our teams. We completed many innovative and landmark projects including, but not limited to, LEED Silver-certified Auburn 12, Vancouver Business Journal’s Development of the Year winner Gensco Vancouver, and Portland Business Journal’s Makers & Manufacturers winners Straightaway Cocktails’ new distilling facility.

Expanding Our Team

This year, we announced Perlo’s acquisition of the Portland renowned Reimers & Jolivette Construction. We welcomed their team as well as 13 new team members this year, strengthening our ability to deliver quality craftsmanship and unparalleled service. Our people remain our greatest asset, and we’re grateful for their hard work and commitment.

Community Engagement

Giving back to our community continues to be a cornerstone of who we are. Through our Perlo Cares initiatives, we supported key community organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Store to Door, the American Red Cross, the Chelsea Hicks Foundations, and more. We also broke a company record during our Annual Perlo Cares Coat & Toy Drive for Angles in the Outfield, and had the pleasure of donating over 500 coats and many, many toys.

Perlo officially acquired the century old Reimers & Jolivette Construction this year, marking an exciting partnership for the Pacific Northwest.
We were honored to receive several awards this year, including Healthiest Employers, 100 Best Companies, Fastest Growing Companies, Development of the Year, and more.

Safety Excellence

Safety remains at the heart of everything we do. This year, we achieved a EMR rating of 0.59, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating a safe work environment for all. We also rolled out new safety helmets that meet the highest standards of protection for our teams.

People Making Waves

This year, our teams were recognized by some of the most respected organizations in the Pacific Northwest. Perlo employees received several accolades including the DJC Phenoms & Icons Awards, NAIOP Oregon Marketing Guru Award, Crew Industry Influencer Award, the AGC National Committee Award, and more. We also had the pleasure of promoting four of our senior project managers to project directors, marking huge milestones for them and us!

Training & Development

2024 marked a year of growth and learning across all teams. We rolled out Procore training, welcomed a class of summer interns who received comprehensive field and project management training, facilitated LEAN Construction workshops, provided process training for Project Engineers, sent our safety professionals to AGC Safety Management courses, held Quarterly Safety Trainings for office staff, and benefited from the invaluable hands-on guidance shared by coworkers and field teams.

Special Projects Group

Our SPG team takes on some of the most dynamic tenant improvements in the area. This year, they created functional, adaptive spaces such as QPO Energy’s new manufacturing facility, Nuna Baby’s second office, the remodel of Michael’s Discount Furniture, and more.

Reflecting on Challenges and Growth

Every year comes with its share of challenges, and 2024 was no exception. From navigating supply chain disruptions to adapting to new technologies, our teams rose to the occasion, finding creative solutions and demonstrating resilience at every turn. These experiences have made us stronger, more adaptable, and better prepared for the future.

As we step into the new year, we’re filled with excitement and anticipation for what’s ahead. In 2025, we’ll continue to:
