This renovation project resulted in a new cooled dock space to provide the 17-foot clear height facility with a 30-foot clear height storage area. Collaborating with the refrigeration and roofing contractors throughout preconstruction helped influence the procurement strategy and achieve Alpine’s goal of reducing energy loss in the existing facility.

Careful coordination was required of any electrical or mechanical shutdowns to the equipment to allow for Alpine to remain operational during construction. The finished project features a freezer and cooler facility with 30-foot clear heights, energy-efficient overhead doors, dock seals, new rigid insulation and upgraded lighting throughout.
